How to Prep

The perfect tan is half of me and half of you! We are a team. Be sure to follow this instructions to ensure a long, lasting tan.

1. Exfoliate – Gently exfoliate your skin 24 hours before tanning to remove dead skin cells and create a smooth canvas. Coming right from work? We got products to help aid the exfoliation process.

2. Shave – Shave at least 18-24 hours before to allow your pores to close, preventing strawberry specs! It is better to get a spray tan over un-shaved legs, than shave right before your appointment. Most times, solution does not stick to fresh shaven legs.

3. Avoid Heavy Lotions & Oils – Keep your skin clean and dry before application. Avoid lotions, perfumes, or deodorants, as they can create barriers and cause uneven results.

4. Use a Tanning Mitt – Always apply self-tanner with our Endless Summer self-tanning mitt for an even, streak-free glow. Be sure to blend in your elbows, hands, and feet using our Endless Summer Body Blending Brush.

6. Let It Bake – Follow the recommended rinse time for your tan and avoid water, sweating, or tight clothing during development. Be careful with laundry, dish washer, and those leather seats-- they will get you ;) 

7. Comfy is Key - Wear dark loose clothes. 

8. Complete ALL Beauty Services PRIOR to your Tan - Hair, lashes, waxes, nails, facials, and  sugaring must be done prior to your application. Sunless is ALWAYS your last stop.

Post Care

The first 24 hours of your tan is when it is most vulnerable. Be sure not to get wet or sweat before your rinse time. Remember that spray tans take 24 hours to develop, especially with the Quickie

1. Wait Before Rinsing – Allow your tan to bake during it's development! After your session, we will go over shower times. Shower when told!

2. First Rinse = Water Only – Use lukewarm water for your first rinse—no soap, scrubs, or loofahs! The bronzer washing off is normal; your tan is still developing. Gently rub the bronzer off with your HAND, so it does not transfer onto your clothes.

3. Pat Dry, Don’t Rub – After showering, gently pat your skin dry with a towel instead of rubbing to avoid to avoid blotches or streaks. PAT - PAT - PAT 

4. Hydrate Daily – Keep your skin moisturized to maintain an even, long-lasting glow. Avoid oil-based lotions that can cause patchiness.

5. Use a Gentle, Tan-Safe Body Wash – Stick to sulfate-free and alcohol-free body washes to keep your tan from fading too quickly. Now is time to skip the Dove/bar soap, this soap messes with your skin's pH balance & can turn your tan orange.

6. Our products are spray tan friendly – Try out our products to refresh your tan and keep it looking fresh longer. Our mousse is great for touch ups, more skin-loving products coming soon!

8. Exfoliate When Ready to Reapply – Once your tan starts fading, gently exfoliate before your next application to ensure an even, streak-free glow. For me, it works best with a wash cloth immediately after a shower.

1. If it is raining the day of your appointment, please dress head to toe & no exposed skin! If the rain touches your fresh tan, it can disrupt the development and cause spots. I have ponchos and other rain-friendly gear available for purchase.
2. If you are coming right from work or this was a last minute booking, do not worry - we have things to help you refresh and exfoliate before. It is better to not shave then to shave right after your appointment.
3. Long, lasting tans happen when you prep properly and follow aftercare. Not following instructions may lead to faster fading.
4. All self care appointments must happen before your spray tan. Your spray tan is always the last stop on your self care journey. We understand that scheduling conflicts happen, but keep in mind that services performed after your tan may affect your results and the longevity of your color.
